Anyone out there have kids? Cats? Spouse? For the longest time I threatened to write down the chores in the house so we could reassign who does everything. I finally broke. I decided to do more than just check who did it all, I created a scale, with 3 being usually, 2, sometimes, 1, occasionally, and blank … well, you can probably guess.
I broke things down as much as I could because I really needed to get rid of some of the things my family expects me to do. When I got done, my youngest son refused to look at the list. I wanted to strangle him. But, he’s autistic and this isn’t that unusual.
All the people living in my house are autistic… and all in different ways.
When my older son woke up, he not only looked at it, he studied it, adjusted a few of the numbers, with permission, and added a few things I’d overlooked.
So far, the changes have been maintained. It’s only been a few changes, but, I’m allowing myself to be hopeful.
When I clean, I like background noise. I often watch tv, but I’ll also listen to audiobooks. As last time, I’m waiting for Glass Witchling to come out of review. I feel like ACX has a personal grudge against me. It has been over 10 days, even if I only count business days.
As for Conflict Reawakened? Well, it IS edited. Next I’m collecting anyone who wants to be part of the ARC team. If you’ve been part of the team in the past, you already got an email. If you didn’t, just comment or send me an email, and I’ll get you on the list.
Both of these are fantasy. I have a contemporary romance. What are your thoughts on that? Should I push to get that one out?
