Conflict Lessens comes out on the 19th! You can pre-order now and be one of the first to find out how Viera and Thorn’s story concludes. My writer’s group keeps joking that the book is ‘Lesbians in Space … with magic’ and all I can hear is the old timey ‘Pigs in Space’ from the Muppets, and it makes me laugh! (Okay, for all of you, I had to make it!)
I’ve started in on the next trilogy in this world. I had thought about writing a standalone contemporary romance, but everyone, aka my editors, said ‘No!’ Apparently, they wanted more of the aliens with magic. To be honest, the series seems to be popular with a lot of people regardless of if they normally like sapphic books. Something about dragons, unicorns, spaceships, and magic!
There is a facebook page: The Queen’s Library, that is a big promoter of authors and readers. It is very positive and very active. About once every few weeks, they have a ‘party’ where they invite a bunch of authors to spend about thirty minutes sharing posts about themselves and their books and playing ‘games’ for engagement. Each author gives something away, often a book or more. ANYWAY, I’m participating in a book even TOMORROW, July 15th on this page. Here is the lineup of everyone participating, which is super exciting!!
Talking about books, and things that are exciting, books 3 and 4 of Coastal wolves, Campus Prowl and Loan Wolf, are with the narrator. My guess is that you can download them from audible in a month. (happy dance!)
Last, but not least, I’d like to suggest two books for your reading enjoyment. The first is actually two! There is a group of authors, including some of my writing friends, who have put together two separate anthologies, who’s profits ALL go to cat rescue. I may try to join in if they put together a third book!
From what I understand, the books will go up in price after the release of the second book. SO, go, get these two books today, enjoy fun short stories combining fantasy and cats, leave a review so others know how great these books are, and know you’re supporting something amazing! Next, this book sounds great! It just came out. Wicked Ground, by Brigit Rosé. Dark elves, the fae, and a love that can shatter a fragile truce!
