In February I ordered 12 covers for two different series. I always order covers for my books last, but there was a sale, and who can resist a good deal.

One of the series I wrote in 2021. The first book in that series led me to a publisher in 2022, who asked for the cowboy series, Love in Golden Creek. I ended up writing four books for them before deciding to switch to self-publishing. I have more success doing it all myself … I think. Because I was writing the cowboy books, the Lucere Amon series went on the back burner.

Late last year I was talking with my editor about a paranormal cozy mystery idea. That led me to Pacific Pack. It isn’t a cozy mystery, it is paranormal romance. I have mapped out seven books for the series and am almost done with book 3. Hopefully by the end of this week. My goal is book 4 will be done by the end of March. Now I’ve done it, it’s been written!!

Getting the covers for the Lucere Amon series was simple, the books were done, writing the blurbs was about remembering what I’d written. Figuring out covers for a series that only had one and a half books written … and TITLES! Oy Vey! That was a tricky week, and my poor friends.

On the bright side, I have them all and they are beautiful. Pacific Pack comes out in Kindle Unlimited and eBook on March 31st. Then the rest of the 6 books follow roughly one a month, or every 4 to 5 weeks. That’s the plan. They’ll go through Kindle Vella first, then a more traditional release.

As for the Lucere Amon books … which are fabulous, my friends. I’m working on them. If you think about the fact that I started with stating I bought 12 covers, and that meant I have 12 books to get edited, you can imagine what my editor is thinking about me right now.

One of my friends writes YA portal fantasy, not what I normally offer, but she is a fantastic writer. Not one to tell you what you should read, and not wanting to limit what I offer, if you’re interested in broadening your library, check this out! https://buy.bookfunnel.com/e9t7j2w9sg?tid=es8cjerkzo
